Nutella Crescents

So I am in love with the blog The Londoner it's an amazing lifestyle blog and Rosie is absolutely fabulous from the clothes she wears to the restaurants she eats at and the food she makes. A recent post by Rosie made me realize I haven't made this scrumptious little snack since the night I went into labor with my baby girl....that's over 7 months ago!

So thanks to Rosie's post I thought I would show you how I make my Nutella Stuffed Crescents (Croissants). I have 2 versions of how I contain the Nutella.

This also happens to be one of the first Pinterest Recipes I ever made. Here's the pin.

Nutella Stuffed Crescents (Croissants)

1 can Crescent rolls (croissant depending on where you live)
a jar of Nutella
Cinnamon
Sugar

Mix a generous heaping of cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl.

Since the Crescent dough comes in 8 pieces I'll make 4 the traditional way and 4 little pouches my way.  First up open the can.

I took the first 4 pieces and kept them with their original perforations.

Slathered some Nutella all over the inside. (This is one of those moments where too much is not an issue.)

Then roll them up! Make sure you pinch the sides a bit if you tend to overfill them like me.

Now take the second half of your dough and keep it in the rectangle shape.

Just separate the two rectangles.

Pinch the perforation together so you have two pieces.

Then using a knife cut the rectangles into 4 squares.

Here's the fun part. Pile on the Nutella. Just keep it on one side.

Fold the dough in half.

Using a fork crimp the edges.

Here's where things get even better! The cinnamon sugar mix. Dip each Crescent and each pocket into the cinnamon sugar mix and roll it around till its covered.

Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Pour any remaining cinnamon sugar mix on the top. Because you can't let any go to waste.

Bake in the oven as specified by the instructions. Which is 350 degrees for 10 minutes in my oven.

Don't they look amazing.

These are so delicious. My husband isn't a huge fan of Nutella but he'll eat these up...if I save any for him and the kids.

I hope you enjoy!
